Siwak, also known as Miswak, is a natural twig from the Salvadora persica tree, traditionally used for cleaning teeth. Its use dates back to ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia and is regarded in Islam as a sunnah, a practice recommended by the Prophet Muhammad. Today, Miswak remains a popular choice in many Muslim and Middle Eastern countries and is gaining popularity worldwide as an eco-friendly alternative to conventional toothbrushes and toothpaste.

Uses: Miswak effectively cleans teeth and the oral cavity, removing plaque, killing bacteria, and freshening breath. It also promotes gum health and reduces the risk of bleeding gums.

  How to use Siwak:

1-Rinse Siwak with water after removing from container.
2-Cut off the top crust (pinky width).
3-Chew the fibers until they form a brush.
4-Brush teeth with gradual pressure, top-down, and back.
5-Clean all sides of teeth and the tongue.
6-Rinse Siwak and mouth after use.
7-Brush several times a day.
8-Trim frayed fibers when flavor fades and soak if Siwak dries out.

It lasts about 3-4 weeks with regular trimming. No toothpaste needed, and it freshens breath, especially for smokers.

J’ai acheté 2 miswaks, mais je ne les ai pas du tout aimés. Ce n’est pas adapté aux dents européennes. Je préfère de loin me brosser les dents de manière traditionnelle
